Η Apple λανσάρει το iPad Pro όχι ως ένα υπερμέγεθες iPad αλλά ως μία νέα συσκευή με καινοτόμες λειτουργίες που το κατατάσσουν σε ένα άλλο επίπεδο σε σχέση με την υπόλοιπη σειρά iPad.
Η οθόνη των 12.9 ιντσών διαθέτει ανάλυση 2732 x 2048 pixels αγγίζοντας τα 5.6 εκατομμύρια pixels, περισσότερα και από αυτά του Retina MacBook Pro!
Το iPad Pro διαθέτει 4 στερεοφωνικά ηχεία (2 στην επάνω πλευρά και 2 στην κάτω πλευρά της συσκευής) και ένα έξυπνο σύστημα διαχείρισης ήχου που μεταβάλει τις παραγόμενες συχνότητες ανάλογα με το πως το κρατάει ο χρήστης.
Ο επεξεργαστής 3ης γενιάς 64-bit A9X με τρομερά βελτιωμένες δυνατότητες σε σχέση με τον A8 πλέον ανταγωνίζεται και ξεπερνάει σε πολλές περιπτώσεις τις επιδόσεις των desktop PCs!
